What is Trust Bank?
Trust is a Singapore digital bank launched on 1 September 2022 as a joint venture between Standard Chartered (60%) and FairPrice Group (40%). It operates under a full bank licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and you open and manage everything in the Trust app. It passed 1 million sign-ups in February 2025.
What the referral gives you
According to Trust's official Refer and Earn page (checked September 2026):

How to use the referral code
- Download the Trust Bank app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Tap Get Started.
- When the app asks for a referral code, enter DKNSEX44. Enter it during sign-up — it may not be possible to add a code later.
- Complete your application. Signing in with Singpass lets Myinfo fill in most of your details automatically.
- Choose your products — a savings account, a credit card, or both — and follow the in-app steps to claim your reward.
Trust credit cards at a glance

- Trust Link card — earns Linkpoints on your spending. Trust advertises up to 21% savings on card spend at FairPrice Group, and up to 20% fuel savings at Caltex.
- Trust Freedom card — rewards options including cashback, miles and "stockback" (rewards paid in stocks).
- No foreign transaction fees: Trust states you never pay foreign transaction fees or exchange-rate markups on overseas spending — useful when travelling or shopping on overseas websites.
Who is Trust a good fit for?
- Regular FairPrice shoppers, thanks to Linkpoints and FairPrice Group savings.
- Travellers and online shoppers who pay in foreign currencies.
- People who prefer app-only banking with sign-up done entirely through Singpass.
Things to check before you apply
- Eligibility: credit cards in Singapore have minimum age and income requirements. The app checks your eligibility during the application.
- Promotion conditions: some rewards may require you to activate your card or make a qualifying transaction within a certain time. Read the promotion terms in the app.
- Interest: if you don't pay your statement in full, interest is charged — Trust lists personalised rates from 18.9% a year. Pay in full every month and treat a credit card as a way to pay, not a loan.
